March & April Recap!

When I say I've had a busy couple of months I'm not doing it justice. If I could use one word to describe the last month it would be magical. I worked with Alex McClelland, who never ceases to amaze me with her talent, and some new friends I've made since the new year started.

Alex and I had our April Wild Child Session, which took my breath away and has instilled even more faith in Alex's creative vision and eye for detail. We worked with a gorgeous model name LaBrea. Words like stunning, statuesque, and genuine don't even begin to scratch the surface when it comes to her inner and outer beauty. We spent a Saturday sunrise with her at Arabia Mountain.

I had the opportunity to work on a few production jobs, one at a Buckhead law firm and the other at the Biltmore. The skyline views at the law firm were incredible and getting the opportunity to step foot in the Biltmore continues to leaves me speechless.

Biltmore Atlanta, GA Shoot with Chorus Films

I had the pleasure of connecting and collaborating with a new photographer, LaJoy Hunter of L.Hunter Photography. I did the makeup for Emma Elle Roberts, who's not only a beautiful model but also a working actress in the city of Atlanta. Check out my last blog for more details on her portrait session at the beginning of April.

Atlanta, Ga Makeup Lesson with Margaret Snider MUA

I spent an afternoon with my good friend Sarah, doing a bit of personal shopping and then followed up a couple of weeks later with a lesson on application and how to use her new makeup products. More on this soon!

Vintage Clothing Shoot Atlanta, GA Lullwater with Margaret Snider Makeup Artistry

And, last but certainly not least, I worked on a collaborative shoot with a number of Atlanta area vendors for Electric Revival Vintage. The creative powerhouse, Alex McClelland, did the photography, I was hair and makeup, Taylor and Lani from Onyx models were our faces in front of the camera, and Flower Crown Society provided beautiful crowns for the shoot. Lullwater; It's beautiful. I highly recommend a lazy day by the lake before it gets too hot outside in the Georgia heat!

I can't wait to show you all the final images from all of the shoots I had the chance to work on. It's such an honor to have the opportunity to work with so many talented people and to do what I love. My passion lies with makeup artistry and I can't wait to keep the ball rolling into the coming months. Keep a lookout for images from April's Wild Child Session. I promise you, they won't disappoint.

Until next time....
